How much annual vacation time am I entitled to?

Upon working one year you are entitled to two weeks of vacation each year. After five years with the same employer the employee is entitled to three weeks of vacation each year.

How much vacation pay am I entitled to?

You are entitled to vacation pay equivalent to 4% of annual earnings. After five years with the same employer, you are entitled to vacation equal to 6% of annual earnings.

When am I entitled to my vacation time?

You are entitled to take vacation within 10 months after the year of employment for which the employee became entitled to a vacation.

A labour standards officer may approve an application by the employee to waive the right to vacation time or to postpone the vacation.

When should I receive my vacation pay?

You should receive your vacation pay no later than the day before your vacation begins.

The Labour Standards Act and Annual Vacation Regulations.
