Nova Scotia Annual Vacation How much annual vacation time am I entitled to? Upon working one year you are entitled to two weeks of vacation time each year. The vacation time is taken as agreed to by the employer and employee, but must include one unbroken period of one week.
How much vacation pay am I entitled to? You are entitled to vacation pay equivalent to 4% of annual earnings.
When am I entitled to my vacation time? You are entitled to take your vacation within 10 months after the 12 month period for which the vacation time is earned.
When should I receive my vacation pay? You should receive your vacation pay at least one day before your annual vacation begins.
