Newfoundland & Labrador Annual Vacation How much annual vacation time am I entitled to? Upon working one year you are entitled to two weeks vacation each year. After 15 years with the same employer, the employee is entitled to three weeks vacation each year; to be taken in one unbroken three week period, one unbroken two-week period and one unbroken one-week period, or three unbroken one-week periods, unless the employer and employee otherwise agree.
How much vacation pay am I entitled to? You are entitled to vacation pay equivalent to 4% of your annual earnings. After 15 years of service with the same employer you are entitled to vacation pay equivalent to 6% of annual earnings.
When am I entitled to my vacation time? You are entitled to vacation time within ten months after the completion of a 12-month period of employment.
When should I receive my vacation pay? You should receive your vacation pay no later than one day before your vacation begins.
